Many people interested in psychic and Spiritual matters will have used or at least encountered the online oracle. An online oracle is a widget or application found on a website or sometimes as a standalone application for smartphones such as the iPhone. It offers divination or fortune-telling. Popular examples of this include:
Tarot card readings
Oracle card readings
Playing card readings
I-Ching readings
Runestone readings
The interface normally involves the Querent or Seeker clicking on images of cards, coins or runestones. After selecting the required number of objects, an interpretation will be available to foretell your future or provide insight into your present situation. But are these oracles effective? Can you really see into the future by clicking some graphics on a website? My view and discussion on these questions follows.
Online oracles are useful and convenient. They are available 24/7 and if you can't sleep at 3am because of a problem weighing on your mind, you can access the oracle through the internet and get insight which will hopefully give you some peace. And some decent sleep! Whereas most card Readers work by appointment, the online oracle is always available whenever you feel the need for some advice.
The thing to remember is that, like any card Reading, physical or online, is that it is just that and no more. It is advice, not an edict. Take it or leave it, do with it what you will but the choices with and responsibility for your life and the decisions you make on how to run it are solely yours and yours alone. Your Spirit Guides will offer you guidance through the cards, physical or online once again, but that does not mean you hand over the running of your life to them. They are loving, wise advisors but your life is your own and that is a wonderful thing. Free will is a beautiful blessing – exercise it wisely and joyfully.
